In 2004, following 20 years of having established herself as a well-known designer of unique and luscious floral arrangements and hand-made giftware on Vancouver's North Shore, Beverly Brazier took the advice of a friend and shifted focus to pursue her life-long dream of oil painting.  Embracing the same spirit of uniqueness as she had in her design work, Beverly discovered that painting allowed her to infuse her creativity with a new excitement and a similar expression of joy, magic and whimsy.  Her love of working with tulle, ribbons, flowers and gold has emerged onto canvas in her passion for painting tutus.

Beverly’s florals exhibit an ethereal quality in their backgrounds and she loves working with transparent and “pure” colours.  Her paintings are happy and joyful.  She is mostly self-taught and has been greatly influenced by French arts and décor.

Currently living “on the beach” outside of Vancouver, BC, her time is spent painting, traveling and cycling with her adventurous husband to exotic destinations, and enjoying her energetic dogs.  She has two grown children.

Beverly's paintings are for sale. Prices range from $160 - $1200.
